Define Happiness
Can You Define Happiness?
So how do you define happiness? Am I crazy to even try to figure out a definition of happiness? Can happiness really be pinned down and defined anyways?
Happiness is extremely personal experience. But still it’s the most universal of all human pursuits. So with that in my I set off on a mission to define happiness.

And anyone who meets him will feel his resonant joy, love and happiness.
So what’s Bill’s secret to being happy?
I think Norman MacEwan summed it up perfectly when he said, “Happiness is not so much in having as sharing. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

Happiness Is…
Happiness Is The Purpose of Life
The Dalai Lama believes the purpose of life is happiness.
He believes this so much that in the very first line of the first chapter of his book The Art of Happiness the Dalai Lama says this about happiness, “I believe that the very purpose of our life is to seek happiness.”
If that wasn’t straight to the point I don’t know what is.
He goes on to say this about purpose and happiness, “Whether one believes in religion or not, whether one believes in this religion or that religion, we all are seeking something better in life. So, I think that the very motion of our life is towards happiness…” [Read more →]

Mr. Happiness The Rapping Monk
Here’s a happiness newsflash.
This just in…
The Buddhist Channel reports that, “A Japanese Buddhist monk is getting down with rap music. Kansho Tagai, aka Happiness Kansho or Mr Happiness, learned to rap at the age of 47, and the shaven-headed chief monk of Tokyo’s Kyooji temple is doing a pretty good job of opening the religious doors to young fans.
